CareerStart service terms
These terms explain the CareerStart pilot service. They are separate from the privacy notice, which explains how information is processed.
Pilot eligibility
This initial CareerStart pilot is for people who are 18 years old or older. Do not create an account for somebody under 18. A future youth service will need a separately approved child-protection and competent-person consent process.
What CareerStart provides
CareerStart helps you organise information you provide into a CV and prepare application materials. It offers guidance, not legal, financial or employment advice, and cannot promise an interview or job.
Your control and responsibility
You decide what to confirm and send. Check every CV and application before using it, keep account access private, and provide information you honestly believe is accurate and yours to share.
What CareerStart will not do
CareerStart does not apply to an employer on your behalf, sell access to your personal details, ask for a payment during this free pilot, or guarantee that an AI suggestion is correct.
Availability and ending use
Pilot features can change or be paused for safety. You can stop using CareerStart and submit an account-deletion request at any time. We may suspend misuse that threatens another person, the service or its data.
